This really useful sewing mat / organizer sits under your machine while sewing and stores all your tools. It even has a little pot for all your snipped threads. You will be able to design your own mat to suit your machine and your needs. Suitable for beginners.

Calico backing for the mat (unless you use your own fabric)

What you will need:

We would prefer you to bring your own sewing machine however if this is not possible we do have a range of machines you can hire for £5.

At least half a metre of pretty fabric for the main mat plus small pieces of other fabrics for the pockets etc. Cotton quilting weight fabric is ideal.

You can bring your own or choose from the wide range available in store.
