Sutton Friends of Palestine: Film Screening – From Ground Zero

Join Sutton Friends of Palestine for a truly unmissable and powerful evening of film, as we host the one of the first UK screening's of “From Ground Zero” — a striking collection of 22 short films made by filmmakers in Palestine.

Created during the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the films offer raw, intimate perspectives on life under siege. From personal reflections to poetic glimpses of daily survival, each filmmaker shares a story often missing from mainstream media. Together, they form a moving portrait of resilience, grief, and the unbreakable spirit of a people enduring unimaginable hardship.

An evening of good food, great conversation, solidarity and shared empathy for one of the most tragic injustices of our time.

All proceeds will go to the registered charity “Seven Spikes Relief” who have been doing vital aid work in Gaza since 2016.

See the video below of the Water Pump being installed in Northern Gaza with money raised from a previous SFoP fundraiser.
