The Scottish Game Developers Association (SGDA) is a Scottish Charitable Organisation formed in 2019. It was created out of the Scottish chapter of the IGDA, which had been operating since 2011. As IGDA Scotland it proudly worked to serve developers around the country as one of the most active chapters in Europe.As the SGDA, we are building on the work we have done over the last 8 years as IGDA Scotland. We are striving to enhance the profile of the game development community as part of Scotland's cultural heritage by raising awareness of the development video games development, and the role games play in society more widely.
