Shadow Puppet Workshop
Get hands-on and craft your own shadow puppets in this workshop for children.
Step into the world of light and shadow.
In this workshop, your children will design and cut their very own shadow puppets, bringing characters from ancient world to life with striking shapes and silhouettes.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore our new exhibition, We Go Way Back, before the workshop for inspiration to create their characters.
The workshop is strictly for children aged 7 - 11 years old. We are unable to facilitate any younger children (e.g. babes in arms, toddlers) and buggies due to the nature of this workshop.
You will need to book a ticket for yourself and tickets for each child in your group.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
All materials will be provided.
The workshop is facilated by Little Angel Theatre, and will be repeated on the following dates:
- Saturday 8 August 2026 at 10:00
- Saturday 15 August 2026 at 10:00
Our on-site café will be open, but no food or drink will be allowed in the workshop space.
