Overview

Join us to explore what a better future might look like — and what would it take to get there.

What is Shared Horizon?

Shared Horizon is CIC, broadening what people think possible. We play a constructive yet provocative role in society, prompting the public to think differently through futures thinking workshops, creative arts and media, and advocacy – to democratise who defines the future.

Why this workshop?

People want change — but most of us struggle to picture what a positive, fair, sustainable future could actually look like. This limits our capacity to act, to collaborate and to imagine anything beyond the status quo. We're working to change that.

What will we do?

  • Explore how our minds make sense of the future
  • Use futures tools to imagine multiple pathways ahead
  • Reflect on what “better” really means in a changing world
  • Surface shared hopes, concerns and motivations

You don’t need any background in futures thinking. The workshop is reflective, energising and accessible to all.

Who's it for?

Anyone curious about change or asking themselves: What comes next?

What are the timings?

  • Arrival: 18:30 - 19:00 pm
  • Session Start: 19:00 pm
  • Session Finish: 21:00 pm

You’ll leave with:

  • A vision of a future you actually want
  • A deeper understanding of why futures thinking matters
  • A sense of community with others exploring similar questions
