Parental leave is a key pillar of securing gender equality at home and at work. Britain needs a new system of genuinely shared parental leave to secure better opportunities for parents and infants. This webinar on Shared Parental Leave Reform will explore the current system of Shared Parental Leave in the UK, the impact that it has gender equality and what a new system should look like. We will also be launching our latest briefing, &#x27;Shared Parental Leave reform&#x27; published jointly with Maternity Action UK.Join us for a discussion chaired by Sonia Sodha, (The Observer/ Guardian) where we will hear from Jules Allen (UK Women’s Budget Group) Ros Bragg (Maternity Action) Adrienne Burgess (Fatherhood Institute ) Charlotte Nichols MP ( Shadow Equalities Minister), Wera Hobhouse MP (Liberal Democrats Equality spokesperson) Maria Miller MP (Former Chair of the Women &amp; Equalities Committee) as they explore the shared parental leave system and the need for reform to further gender equality in the UK.
