Shared Reading for 7–9s
A relaxed session to read stories and poems together.
Relaxed sessions to read stories and poems together, then chat about what they've made us think and how they've made us feel.
There’s nothing to read at home and no pressure to read aloud unless you want to. It’s a space for you to just ‘be’.
We will also have simple crafts or activities at these sessions.
Refreshments will be available.
Please note:
A responsible adult (aged 18+) must stay within the vicinity of the children’s library for the session.
No phones are allowed at these sessions. Please switch them off at the start of the session or leave them with a responsible adult.
If you have any questions before the session, please email libraries@wirral.gov.uk
No photography or videoing are allowed at this event.
This is a Liverpool City Region programme in partnership with The Reader, supported using public funds from Arts Council England.
