A unique programme which highlights the power of the female voice, featuring glorious music for upper voices and harp.

This unique programme features music written for upper voices and harp including Imogen Holst’s Welcome Joy and Welcome Sorrow, Gustav Holst’s Choral Hymns of the Rig Veda and Benjamin Britten’s iconic Ceremony of Carols which form the main structure of the programme with other joyfully festive repertoire such as Sarah Deere-Jones’ Veni Coronaberis, Kelly-Marie Murphy’s Hodie Christus Natus Est and Winnie Bruckner’s contemplative Veni, veni Emanuel and The snow it melts the soonest. Gabriella Jones will also share original music by Caroline Lizotte and an arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake theme by Keziah Thomas. Corra Sound and Gabriella Jones bring this exciting programme to Guildford direct from the Ethelflaeda Festival at Romsey Abbey.
