Sheffield Digital is the organisation for businesses and individuals involved in Sheffield’s digital industries. Our mission is to help develop the best possible environment for setting up, working in and growing digital businesses in Sheffield and the surrounding region.

Sheffield Digital is teaming up with Google to host a 'meetup of meetups' - a Meta-Meetup! - on Monday the 10th July from 6-9pm at the Google Digital Garage in Barkers Pool.
This event is intended to be an informal get-together for Sheffield's tech meetup organisers so we can all meet each other, compare notes, share the things that are challenging us, and generally help each other's events become more successful. We also want to celebrate the people who volunteer so much of their time to bring communities together - Sheffield's tech scene would be a barren, lifeless place without it's meetup organisers!
In addition to the venue, Google are very kindly providing refreshments as well (please note there is a no alcohol policy at the Garage, however there will be opportunity to retire to a pub to carry on the conversations afterwards).
The Meta-Meetup is not limited to meetup organisers, but is open to anyone who runs events for the tech and digital community in Sheffield or nearby. Please pass this link on to anyone you think may be interested, and register for a (free) ticket so we can track numbers.
