Hear about the work of The Sherbourne Valley Project and future plans in this online update event.

Join us for an online project update event where we’ll be sharing the latest news from the Sherbourne Valley Project and reflecting on what has been achieved so far. From river restoration and habitat improvements to community engagement and volunteering, this session will offer a clear picture of how work across Coventry is helping to reconnect people with the River Sherbourne and its surrounding green spaces.

The event is open to everyone, whether you’re a regular volunteer, have joined us once, or are simply curious to learn more about the project and what’s coming next. We’ll also look ahead to future plans, considering our project legacy and opportunities to get involved, with time for questions and discussion at the end.

This is an online update, you will be sent an email with the link to the Microsoft Teams meeting earlier on the day of the event.

This event is organised and lead by Jordan Davies (Communications & Interpretation Officer) 07703 192200 jordan.davies@wkwt.org.uk.

If you're new to our events and would like to see who we are before the event, see our photos and find out more about the Sherbourne Valley Project team here: https://www.sherbournevalley.co.uk/meet-the-team

Note:

Please be aware that there may be photography or videography at this event. If you have any issues with this, please make a team member and any individuals with a camera aware. It is worth noting however, that almost all of our events are in public spaces and we cannot control members of the public who may want to take photos.

This project is lead by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust in partnership with Coventry City Council, Severn Trent, the Environment Agency, Citizen Housing, Historic Coventry Trust, Coventry University and Sherbourne Valley Churches. It as has been generously supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, and it’s thanks to National Lottery players that we are able to host this event.
