About this event

  • 3 hours

It is the paradigm text for modern Yoga teacher-training courses, centred around the 8 limbs of Yoga.
However, many of us have only a superficial grasp of what lies beyond the ethical principles, and sadly the valuable messages and concepts of this key text of Raja Yoga and Yoga psychology often elude us.

In this workshop, Michael will guide us through some of the beautiful meaning, concepts and messages contained in the first two chapters of this mysterious Yoga text.
The morning’s satsang will be interspersed with an eclectic mixture of accessible and unique practices garnered from Michael’s lifelong deep immersion in the Yoga tradition.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy Michael’s teaching, who has been described as one of Ireland`s pre-eminent Yoga philosophers.
Michael’s commitment and service (seva) to Traditional Classical Yoga was recognised recently when he was awarded the title of ‘Yogacharya’ (Master of Yoga) by the International Centre for Yoga Education and Research India.
In Michael’s words ‘come along everyone and drink at the well’.
