So much data has been generated from Covid. Data around the affects the pandemic has had on individuals in education, the schools and colleges themselves, how we teach and learn, what technology we use and how reliable online learning, devices and assessments have been. But should we trust the data and where it comes from? How robust is it, really? In education we tend to believe everybody has good intentions, but data can be used to colour the truth in all sorts of ways, and approaches that are marketed as effective, aren't always.
