KEW BRiDGE kinema at the musical museum

An exciting new project featuring regular silent cinema screening with live musical accompaniment on the Wurlitzer by our own Donald Mackenzie

The new season launches with a humorous and poignant look at Hollywood with this 1928 feature film starring Marion Davies & William Haines with cameo appearances from many of the great names of the silent screen - including Chaplin and Fairbanks. Made the year after the release of ‘The Jazz Singer’ it is a nostalgic farewell to silent films and is considered Davies’ finest screen role.
