The CTO's of cheqd and Animo Solutions come together to discuss their work on ledger agnostic AnonCreds in preparation for RWOT 2022!

Come and chat about the work that&#x27;s happening with cheqd, ledger independence in Aries Framework JavaScript, and the standardization of AnonCreds with the CTO&#x27;s of cheqd and Animo! As the interest in digital identity grows, the need for scalable infrastructure grows with it. The current ledger limitations for most solutions that follow Aries standards mean that large scale implementation are difficult to achieve.At this event we&#x27;ll discuss what will need to happen for the broader adoption of self-sovereign identity and go in depth about the technical work currently being done. Ankur is the co-creator of Hyperledger Bevel and holds multiple patents in scaling distributed systems/blockchains, and artificial intelligence. He has architected for large-scale traditional digital identity/biometrics products in government and finance, as well as Hyperledger Indy SSI projects such as NHS Staff Passports.Timo Glastra is co-founder and CTO of Animo Solutions. He is focused on increasing the quality and functionality of the open-source SSI tech stack and ensuring interoperability between standards. Animo works to increase the accessibility of self-sovereign identity development by creating quality, reusable implementations and building developer-oriented tooling.Animo Solutions and cheqd are coming together in this pre-Rebooting the Web of Trust event to combine their efforts towards the adoption of self-sovereign identity.PracticalThis meetup will take place at the office of Animo, right next to the central station of Utrecht, on the 6th floor of the Beatrix theater.
