Frequently asked questions
Yes! There will be activities for children and grownups. Children must accompanied by an adult throughout the day, including at all workshops. Please book a ticket for each human to help us keep track of numbers.
Shroom Sunday takes place at a nature reserve in Chingford, east London. Attendees will receive an email with the location & transport a few days before the event. If you don't receive the location 5 days before the event, check your spam, message us here, or email: londonfungusnetwork@hotmail.com
The nearest station is Chingford Overground, a 15-20 min walk, or via local bus routes. On site parking is not available, but free parking is available on local streets.
The site is a nature reserve and will be busy at times, so please leave your canine friends at home to avoid disturbing wildlife.
The event will be accessible via a hard footpath and grassland, with some mild uneven ground. The site is accessible for buggies and wheelchairs. Seats are available.
The day includes both outdoor and indoor activites and will go ahead whatever the weather, including rain and low temperatures. In the event of potentially dangerous weather (e.g. very high winds, lightning), the event may be postponed for the safety of participants.
We love mushrooms and from time to time take photos and videos of them (and humans) at our events for marketing purposes. If you would prefer not be photographed, please let us know.
