Join us for the launch party of Sightlines, our new series of architecture books
An evening of readings and talks to celebrate the launch of Sightlines, our new series of books looking at architecture from distinct points of view, each taking the perspective of a particular entity, history, discipline, or form of writing.
We will be joined by Andrea Bagnato, author of Terra Infecta: Disease and the Italian Landscape, as well as the authors of upcoming Sightlines books, Helen Thomas, Eliot Haworth and Sara Pereira. Their projects range from a reflection on animals and architecture inspired by Le Corbusier to an oral history of a Portuguese housing project after the fall of the dictatorship in 1974.
More about Sightlines
Sightlines is a series of essays looking at architecture from distinct points of view, each taking the perspective of a particular entity, history, discipline, or form of writing or research. Published in collectable hardback editions and authored by a range of renowned and emerging writers and practitioners, these books will look to question and refresh settled understandings of architecture: who and what it concerns, how it is historicised, and the ways it reflects and determines our lives.
