Ever wanted to try sign writing? This is your chance! Join artist and professional signwriter, Laura Nelson AKA @szuszusignco for this relaxed and informal ‘Introduction to sign-painting’ essentials course at Belfast Central Library. Laura will share a range of traditional skills, tips and techniques to help get you started in the craft. You'll learn:<ul><li>Essential materials including water and enamel paints.</li><li>Old-school letter and pattern transfer techniques including pouncing and chalk.</li><li>We’ll spend time practicing with specialist sign writers chisel brushes.</li></ul> Laura will bring her own library along of all things text, lettering design and sign painting for participants to have a look through. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting painty!
