To coincide with International Week of the Deaf we have put together a Deaf Awareness and basic British Sign Language workshop.

This workshop with <a href="https://deafunity.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Deaf Unity </a>would include:•	An introductory game for everyone to get involved in and break the ice. The game is drawn from Deaf Culture and is a visual- and action-based game.•	A short interactive session on deaf awareness including what deafness is, the different types of deafness and how to communicate effectively with a deaf person.•	A beginners British Sign Language taster session encompassing the fingerspelling alphabet, numbers and basic conversation skills such as, exchanging names and asking how you are
