Do you want to connect and engage with like-minded people who care about the fight to save the planet? If yes, this workshop is for you!

Avenue Campus Building 65 - Room 1173

You are invited to our 2-hour innovation workshop, where you will hear inspiring case studies of innovative climate action at the local, national and international levels. After hearing each case study, participants will be split into small teams to discuss new ideas for innovative solutions to climate problems at each level. The workshop begin with a presentation introducing the key principles of Doughnut Economics that will be used to guide the creative sessions.At the end of the workshop, prizes will be awarded to the most popular ideas and ways to remain connected and engaged in climate action will be shared. We hope the workshop will leave you inspired and with new connections to people and organisations who care about the planet and are ready to take action! By putting our minds together, we can all become more and stay active in the fight to save the planet. The Workshop is run by students working with the Social Impact Lab at the University of Southampton in partnership with the Southampton Climate Action Network.In addition to the prizes, free pizzas and refreshments will be provided for everyone.
