Silver Casting workshop

Choose to sand cast a gorgeous ring or pendent. You’ll also have the option of adding coloured gems to your piece! This in-person event is perfect for beginners and seasoned jewellery makers alike. Over the course of the day Florence will lead you through each step of the process and support you in your making. At the end you’ll take your gorgeous piece away with you to cherish for life or gift to someone special.

The silver to cast your piece along with 3 gemstones are included.

Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be available, and there will be a lovely vegetarian lunch provided.

Additional Info

There will be an assortment of different ring styles and sizes for you to work from. This workshop does not include calving your own design in wax. Alternatively, if you have a ring you would like to try and make a copy of, you are welcome to bring it, but Florence can not guarantee that it will be suitable for this process.

If you choose to make a pendent, there will be a selection of different designs for you to choose from. You are also welcome to bring a small object along that you might like to try casting a copy of, however there is no garantee that it will be possible or sutible for this process. The class fee does not include a chain to turn the pendent into a necklace. This can be purchased separately from Florence, or you can source your own.

For safety reasons, this workshop is for 18+ only. We are working hard to ensure this is a fully accessible event, however if you are a wheelchair user please contact the organiser to discuss details and booking futher.
