Silver Stacking Ring Workshop with Hannah Souter

What you'll do

Hannah will take you through each step of making a ring by hand: measuring, cutting, shaping, soldering and texturing the silver, then filing and polishing it to a finish. By the end of the day you'll have three rings to wear together or apart, or to give as a gift.​​

Who should attend

The workshop is open to all abilities and is ideal for beginners, so you don't need any experience. It suits anyone who has wanted to try metalwork and anyone looking for a calm, absorbing day making something that lasts. Groups are small, with a maximum of 8, so Hannah can give everyone individual attention.

What's included

• £20 of sterling silver, which is enough for your set of three rings
• Use of all tools and equipment
• Expert guidance throughout the day
• Hot drinks during the coffee and lunch breaks
  

The silver included covers this project. If you'd like to make an extra ring or add more decoration, extra silver can be bought on the day at an additional cost.

What to Wear and Bring

• Clothes you don't mind getting a little grubby (an apron is welcome)
• A hair bobble, because long hair needs to be tied back
• A notebook and pencil, if you'd like to take notes
• A packed lunch (there's a half-hour lunch break)
