Overview

Join me for a fun hands-on silver stacking ring workshop and walk away with your own unique jewellery.

Silver stacking rings workshop

Join me for a relaxed and hands-on workshop in Lincolnshire where you’ll create your own unique silver stacking rings from scratch. This beginner-friendly class is a great introduction to the world of jewellery making – no experience needed.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Make a ring band to size
  • Add texture with hammers and stamps
  • Option to create and solder silver accents

You’ll be provided with three pieces of sterling silver wire – round, rectangle and beaded – to make three distinct styles of ring. You’ll have the option to make and solder a small accent to one of your rings. This could be an organic silver nugget, a flattened nugget stamped with your initial, or a domed shape.

Workshops are small and supportive, so there’s plenty of time for individual guidance. Whether you’re looking to try something new or just want to spend a few creative hours making something beautiful, you’ll leave with a set of unique stacking rings and some serious jewellery-making skills.

All tools and materials provided – just bring your enthusiasm and a few other things….

What do I need to bring?

  • Appropriate clothing – wear something you don’t mind getting a little dirty, and avoid loose clothing, eg wide sleeves or scarves
  • Wear closed toed shoes, especially as we’ll be soldering
  • Hair tie – if you have long hair, it must be tied back

About Rosie

Rosie is a handmade jewellery designer working primarily in silver from her studio in Lincolnshire, drawing inspiration from nature’s organic forms. Her designs move from the organic to the abstract, resulting in distinctive, wearable pieces. She explores repetition, structure, and the relationships between individual elements, focusing on how they fit together and interact.

Alongside her studio practice, Rosie teaches jewellery workshops that combine modern techniques with traditional bench skills, encouraging experimentation and confidence at the bench. She enjoys guiding students through processes and problem-solving, helping them develop their own ideas while creating unique pieces to take home.
