SIMMER DOWN FRIDAY: NICE TIME

The Bernie Grant Arts Centre is a £15 million purpose-built multi-arts centre, which includes a 274-seat auditorium, studio/rehearsal space, café/bar, enterprise centre and open spaces. It is located next to the Town Hall in Tottenham, North London. The centre was designed by David Adjaye and opened in September 2007.

The last Friday of every month, Simmer Down brings together emerging artists, performers and DJs for an exciting evening of local talent

Come down to Bernie Grant Arts Centre to enjoy a drink at the bar, listen to some good tunes, learn from expert speakers and celebrate the culture of Tottenham! Nice Time, presents a bright and splendid blend of comedy and song from seasoned and emerging acts performing stand-up, variety, new music and spoken word. Tonight’s show is arranged with comedy producers, New Variety Lives and young artist network, Generation Uncovered. Fancy taking part in our open mic session at the end of the show? We have 5 minute slots to perform your poetry, song or spoken word.
