Croydon Health Services  Resuscitation, Simulation & Clinical Skills Centre is one of the leading healthcare simulation centre’s in South West London.We provide expert clinical skills training to all staff at Croydon Health Services, as well as to our neighbouring NHS trusts through the South London Simulation Network.Our in-depth training includes full immersion high-fidelity simulation for inter-professional clinical teams, to meet the highest standards of patient safety.Simulation Based Learning (SBL)Our Simulation Based Learning (SBL) initiatives are designed so that all healthcare professionals can extend their knowledge and application of clinical skills, team-work, communication, leadership and situational awareness skills in realistic, but safe simulated environments.Our goals are to improve patient safety and patient outcomes, focussing on enhancing our inter-professional team performance and training.

CHS Resuscitation, Simulation and Clinical Skills

Staff experience, a variety of complex challenges when dealing with difficult clinical situations and sometimes these incidents can end up in Coroner’s Court. 
Developed following review of local Serious Incidents (SI’s), this course aims to improve staff skills and knowledge to manage these challenging situations.
The course includes challenging simulation, duty of candour/breaking bad news simulation, note and statement writing, root cause analysis and simulated coroner’s court inquest.

Pre-course learning/questionnaire attached to an event must be completed prior to the day. Failure to meet this requirement will result in your removal from the course.

Anyone found with the wrong ticket will be informed and redirected to the right ticket, (if available). The Croydon Simulation and Clinical Skills Team reserve the right to not admit anyone in possession of the wrong ticket.
Croydon Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre will not support visa or work permit applications to attend CSSC courses. All delegates must be eligible to attend courses and the Croydon Simulation and Clinical Skills Team reserve the right to not admit anyone who has not shown evidence of a valid visa, work permit and work ID.
