About this event

  • 6 hours 30 minutes

We are delighted to invite you to our Single Session Thinking conference. This relaxed, informative day will be facilitated by the Normal Magic team: Professor Windy Dryden, Sarah Lewis and Steve West. We will be joined by special guests who have journeyed with us as we designed and successfully implemented Single Session Thinking across child and young person mental health services, children centres, public health nursing and education. We are delighted to be joined by children who have been trained in our own unique mental health ambassador programme, where Single Session help seeking is at the heart of the programme.

We aim for the day to explore all aspects of Single Session Thinking across multiple levels of help giving services. The purpose of the day is to:

  • build momentum across the country as we collectively consider effective and efficient ways services provide mental health care to 0-19 year olds and their families.
  • inspire others with our success stories
  • explore how we have approached seen, and unseen, barriers
  • consider the vital aspect of whole system change
  • be inspired by delegate stories of their own journey with Single Session Thinking.

We very much look forward to spending the day with you.
