Spiritual Ways differ in describing how It relates to the World and to the individual self.In formulating these descriptions, metaphysics conveys the unique nature of a spiritual path, and provides the framework for a seeker’s striving.A key feature of <a href="https://ibnarabisociety.org/introduction-muhyiddin-ibn-arabi/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ibn ‘Arabi’s</a> metaphysics is the frequent use of contradictory complements to describe realities inaccessible to the intellect, and to convey a taste of such realities to the heart.In this seminar we shall explore these matters in relation to the metaphysics of Ibn ‘Arabi as presented in his masterwork, The Fusus al-Hikam. Avi Abadi has been a student of the work of Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi for many years and has directed courses at the <a href="https://www.chisholme.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Chisholme Institute</a> in the Scottish Borders
