Let’s grab a warm drink from Afuera coffee pod to take on an Easter Saturday stroll through North Shields Fish Quay to Tynemouth Londsands!

The lighter days are officially here and so is Easter chocolate and spring celebrations. What better way to spend Easter Saturday than coexisting with other neurodivergent people, soaking up the seaside sun and sipping on a mini egg hot chocolate. Sip ‘n’ Stroll is a zero-socialising-pressure event. This is a chance for us neurodivergent people to coexist and get that community feeling without the need to mask. We will start at Afuera coffee pod in North Shields, next to Northumberland Park. You can get an Easter special, a basic hot drink, a chocolatey or healthy snack, or nothing at all - whatever floats your boat. We will then walk down to North Shields Fish Quay and walk along the coastal path towards Tynemouth, finishing our walk at Longsands Beach. This is a lush opportunity for us to get to know each other - yapping is very much welcome, and so is just walking along in silence! This is YOUR time, to fill up your cup in whichever way feels good to you. I am SO excited to see you! I just know we are going to have such a lush time together!
