After your Saturday morning jam on toast, come to No.34 for a fun, digital Raspberry Jam event!
Led by Raspberry Jam ambassador Bethanie Fentiman, this interactive event lets you to get to grips with Raspberry Pi computers and other really interesting software such as Scratch. There’s a mixture of exciting drop-in activities and mini-workshops for anyone interested in coding – so don’t miss out.
Activities on the day will include playing with Sonic Pi, turning jelly babies into fully functioning Raspberry Pi buttons and hacking Minecraft.
Here is the schedule for the day:
11:30am – Learning and programming a BBC MicroBit
12:00pm – Turning Jelly Babies into Buttons
1:00pm – GPIO workshop making LEDs flash and Buzzers buzz
The is also a Radio Building activity which will cost £10 per radio built, which you can then take home. The activity can take between 2 and 3 hours to do so please be aware when booking a place.
There are limited places on each of the worshops so booking is essential.
