About this event

A collaborative, online, international creative writing workshop open to students from Hong Kong University and Manchester Metropolitan University. An opportunity to develop creative projects, share work, and build contacts.

In the spirit of global perspectives bound together on intersections of passion, such as Paris in Six or New York, I love you, we are building a living anthology of international conversations, streaming from Manchester and Hong Kong, on the following theme: New Mergers? 21st century Creative Writing, Social Media, AI, and Art Tech

Monday 15th April 2024
UK: 10:30-11.30am BST
HK: 6:30-7.30pm SAR

This session will take a deeper dive into what connects us. We will be thinking about the objects that matter most to us and the stories we can construct from them, sharing words and images as we take a step into each other's worlds. There will some writing time in the session, but participants are encouraged to have a think in advance about objects you would like to share, and to prepare some writing or other creative work, about or inspired by your object, for discussion in the workshop. Bring your creative perspectives, new writings and objects, and join us!

The workshop will take place online on Zoom. Book your place via EventBrite to receive a link to join: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/six-cups-of-coffee-iii-tickets-835957731077
