Sixth Form Open Evening

Choosing a Sixth Form is one of the most important decisions students make as they prepare for life beyond Year 11.

Join us for our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 12th November, where students and parents/carers can discover what their Sixth Form journey at Sutton Girls could look like. The event is open to current Year 11 students, prospective applicants from other schools and their parents/carers.

We are incredibly proud of our Sixth Form community and the exceptional outcomes our students achieve, with 86.8% of A level grades awarded at A*-B and 63% achieving A*/A grades. Alongside academic success, students benefit from personalised support, extensive enrichment provision and a Sixth Form experience rich in breadth, challenge and choice.

During the evening, you will have the opportunity to:

• Explore all 20 A level subjects and the Extended Project Qualification
• Meet our specialist subject teachers and current Sixth Form students
• Learn about leadership, enrichment and super-curricular opportunities
• Find out more about university, careers and progression pathways
• Discover our pastoral support, VESPA mindset and mentoring programmes, and the wider Sixth Form experience.

Presentations will take place at 5.00pm and 6.00pm from our Headteacher, Dr Minards, Head of Sixth Form, Mr Swanston, and our Senior Student Ambassadors.

4.45pm-7.00pm, Thursday 12th November

We look forward to welcoming you soon. If you have any questions, please contact sixthform@suttcold.bham.sch.uk
