A Digital Skills Discussion to inform the Local Skills Improvement Plan and skills commissioning.
Delivered by West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and kindly hosted by Calderdale College.
This event is being held at Mill Studios, 3rd Floor, D Mill, Dean Clough, Halifax.
The event will open to any business to join and discuss their digital and technology skills requirements and gaps. This could include manufacturing / healthcare / music / technology businesses as well for example.
We hope that you can join us for a business round table discussion 9-11am on 25th March to discuss your businesses’ skills needs and look at how we can help to ensure an effective talent pipeline in the region.
• To achieve your strategic business objectives, you need to ensure an effective talent pipeline into your business.
• Yet, across a range of priority business sectors, including Digital skills there are shortages of talented new recruits.
• You may also be looking to upskill your existing staff
West and North Yorkshire Chamber, partnered with West Yorkshire Combined Authority invite you to join them to discuss this and to explore potential solutions that meet your business needs as well as helping young people to fulfil their potential and unlock economic growth in our region. Your input will also help to inform strategy through the Local Skills Improvement Plan, which helps to inform both local and national policy.
This small round table event is suitable for employers in the Digital sector or for those seeking to boost Digital Skills within their business.
