Fitting with the theme of Reusing, Recycling and using Local, Slate which although not quarried locally is widely available in the valley in the form of roof slates, used for centuries on the valley homes and factories, this forms the basis of our mosaic workshops.

Along with slate; pottery, glass, natural and manmade materials will be introduced.

· You will learn about how to use a range of tools to prepare cut slate, glass and pottery safely

· Different techniques of fixing the mosaic to a substrate (base)

Mounting techniques for your masterpiece

All attendees will leave with a complete framed/ mounted product.
