Turning Tides provides a range of homeless support services in West Sussex, covering Adur and Worthing, Littlehampton, Horsham District and Mid Sussex. Every year we accommodate over 200 homeless people in our 20+ properties across the county.We deliver effective and sustainable services, striving to achieve complete pathways out of homelessness. We are constantly developing and equipping ourselves with the range of options that meet the diverse needs of our clients – to ensure we can fully empower them to achieve sustainable fulfilling lives.

Wake up to homelessness! Turning Tides' annual SleepOut is back at an exciting new location - Worthing Fire Station.

Could you give up your bed for one night to help raise funds for those that don’t have one?Our annual SleepOut is a staple in the Turning Tides fundraising calendar. Join us on Saturday 30th September at an exciting new location – Worthing Fire Station - to take on the fundraising challenge to support local people experiencing homelessness. Although the SleepOut cannot replicate what people sleeping rough face every day, by taking on this challenge you will help raise awareness of homelessness, gain a small insight into the harsh realities of rough sleeping, and your fundraising will make a difference to the lives of people experiencing homelessness in your community. This event is open to all, and we encourage you to get your friends, family, colleagues, or club involved. All ages are welcome, with participants under the age of 18 to be accompanied by an adult. Sign up for a fun, thought-provoking and unique fundraising experience!On the night you’ll hear from people who have experienced homelessness and the front-line keyworkers who support them. Plus, you can take part in activities including the shelter-building competition, tours of the fire station, and storytelling for children and adults. Participants will receive a light evening meal, breakfast and unlimited hot drinks.
