SLL HCNE: Data Centre Lighting

This hybrid presentation this covers the Lighting of data centres, particularly data halls and external lighting when LEED certification is required these present many unusual challenges for the lighting designer and specifier.

The presentation will discuss the various considerations and challenges associated with the Lighting of data centres, and AI factories, particularly data halls and external lighting when LEED certification is required these present many unusual challenges for the lighting designer and specifier.

Sophie Parry is Technical Mangager for Trilux Lighting UK and is responsible for the Trilux Akademie and the Lighting Solutions Design team.

Sophie is an experienced lighting designer and engineer, who is an elected council member of the CIBSE and member of the CIBSE EDI advisory group.

Sophie’s further accreditations include being a member of the SLL Technical & Publications committee since 2015, the chair of the SLL Technical & Publications committee since 2020, and is a member of the Lighting Liaison Group (lighting industry to UK Government advocacy)
