&#x27;The idea of a slow morning for the festival came out of my desire to slow down. I was aware that I felt constantly bombarded by negative news, and the pace of life seemed to be quickening. I was disconnected from my purpose. This led me to explore experiences that cultivated calm. I started to spend more time in nature and explore activities that made me feel centred and fulfilled.For Slow Mornings I wanted to showcase events that encourage us to look at and question our choices. I hope you will feel inspired by the events we have curated. They are all led by volunteers who are passionate about health and wellbeing.&#x27; - Mel SuttonEach Slow Morning starts with 15 minutes of meditation. Book once for every morning. This is an AUDIO event. Please have your video and sound turned offPlease note: meditation is an audio only event The start of the day is a great time for contemplation and self enquiryEach day we will share a meditation and visualisation. Experience quietening the mind to a place of stillness, creating space for new opportunities to grow Establishing a daily meditation practice during the festival will deepen your connection to who you are, what you are here to do and your hearts desire.Following the meditation will be events to inspire and promote health and wellbeing. About Urban Tree FestivalThis event is part of the 2020 Urban Tree Festival. Now in its third year and for the first time in an accessible virtual format. Please join the event promptly, we will be ‘locking’ events five minutes after their advertised start time and which means late arrivals will not be allowed entry.Please do not share the link to the Zoom meeting on social media or elsewhere as there is a capacity limit to each event, and we will only allow entry to those who have booked.It is always our desire to create the safest events but we cannot accept any responsibility for the actions of others during live events. We will be moderating events and reserve the right to eject participants.
