Slowing Down In A Busy World

Slowing Down In A Busy World

Grow Yoga SheffieldSharrow, England
Thursday, Feb 5 from 11 am to 1 pm GMT
Overview

Restore and learn simple, practical, nervous system informed tools to help you slow down and find greater ease in your day.

In a world that continually asks us to move faster, do more, and stay constantly stimulated, slowing down can feel unfamiliar — and sometimes even uncomfortable. This workshop offers a supportive space and simple, practical tools, to explore what it truly means to slow down in a way that is kind, intentional, and sustainable.

Slowing Down in a Busy World is a small group embodiment coaching session designed to help you reconnect with your body, your pace, and your capacity. Rather than focusing on performance or productivity, we’ll gently explore how slowing down can support regulation, presence, and a greater sense of ease in everyday life.

Throughout the session, you’ll be guided through a series of short, accessible, nervous-system-informed practices. These tools are intentionally simple and practical — designed to be easily woven into daily life, without adding another “thing to do”.

This is a non-athletic session and is suitable for:

  • those experiencing burnout or chronic stress
  • people living with fatigue conditions or chronic illness
  • anyone curious about cultivating more calm, presence, and steadiness in the pace of their days

No previous experience with embodiment or movement practices is needed. You’re welcome exactly as you are.
