Slug identification workshop

Slug expert Chris du Feu will lead a workshop on these often overlooked creatures. It is a condition of attendance that attendees must catch slugs in the days before the event and bring them on the day. Details of how to find and look after them will be sent to attendees in advance. There may be an option to stay after the main event to chat to Chris or find more slugs in the hall garden.

The workshop will be held indoors but the hall does have a garden where additional slugs may be looked for. Children welcome but must be with an adult. No dogs. Toilets on site. On street parking.

We will require an emergency contact for each person attending the event – please provide a name and mobile number, so that we can respond appropriately in an emergency, at the time of booking. Please provide details of any medical condition you would like the event organiser to know about, at the time of booking, to enable an appropriate response in an emergency.

Suggested donation: £5 per person. All donations help us to continue to bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.

Bookable face-to-face events may be subject to change at short notice, which will be communicated to attendees via email by the organiser. Please check your email in advance of attending events. Note that booking generally ends two hours prior to the event start time.
