30th April 7pm - 9pm UK timeONLINE workshopThe Workshop: Slut ConsentWorkshop description: Unpacking power and pleasure for slut liberationWe only have true pleasure when we feel truly safe. We will look at creating spaces where we can feel safe and comfortable to enjoy our bodies.In this workshop we will explore addressing and interrupting power dynamics within sex and sexual intimacy and look at communication for embodied pleasure. The Facilitators: Bryony Ball and Meggan Baker (She/Her)Meggan and Bryony are the co-founders of SLEEC which they set up in 2019. Prior to SLEEC, both worked in male violence and crisis services for years as well as being heavly involved in activism and campaigns. They became exhausted and fruastrated with the same retoric, harmful structures and limited conversations surrounding male violence and within supporting survivors, and dedided to step away entirely leading them to build SLEEC. SLEEC is a space to hold nuence, mess and fight for liberation. Who is it for?This space is for trans women, cis women, femmes, and non-binary survivors of rape or sexual assault. We are not gatekeepers of identities. If you identify with any of these genders or presentations, this space is for you.It is for those who have experienced sexual assault/abuse, rape, or sexual trauma, regardless of how major or minor you feel your experience to be. Who are we?School of Care, Liberation &amp; Disruption:SOCLD is a space to heal, liberate and disrupt through learning, knowledge shares, care and action. Many in our community have found traditional healing support, education and mobolizing spaces to be inaccessible, unaffordable, exclusive and catered to one small demographic. SOCLD is a space for and by those with lived experience of oppression and violence. We seek to find better ways for liberatory recovery, action and collective care.(A new project run by SLEEC). SLEEC is a survivor led organisation that changes conversations, supports survivors and tackles the roots of male violence. (sleec.net)
