IF Oxford science and ideas Festival

Why do we need sleep? What happens when we go without it? The play small hours probes the mysteries of human circadian rhythm, the daily pattern of wakefulness and sleep, and how this can be either disrupted or adjusted. Join this journey of self-exploration and see where it might lead you. Book a ticket and you will be sent a link to allow you to watch the 50-minute play from the moment it premieres on Monday 19 October at 7.30pm. The play will be available to view at any time until 8.30pm on Sunday 25 October. Your ticket is valid for the whole period. Written by Ava Wong Davies. Co-Produced by IF Oxford and Oxford Playhouse with scientific advice from the University of Oxford Sleep &amp; Circadian Neuroscience Institute. Performed by Mandala Theatre Company. You can make your donation during booking or after the event and the amount you pay is up to you.
