This unique conference will look at some of the issues facing LGBT+ people as they age and then showcase some of the amazing work being done in Shropshire, Telford &amp; Wrekin to make this a safer and more inclusive place to age well. It will include organisations already signed up to the Covenant, as well as those looking to find out more about what they can do. T﻿here will be contributions from: Residential care providers * GP Practice * Social Housing providers * Domiciliary Care Providers * Social Prescribing * Information &amp; Advice services * Counselling services * and more ..The conference will include workshops designed to help you and your organisation share and develop ideas for change, with opportunities for discussion around: how to get started and implement change; the development of a new resource which helps community and social groups to more easily understand why inclusion matters; how to make Equality, Diversity and Inclusion a golden thread throughout organisational practice.F﻿or more information on workshops click here: <a href="https://www.lgbtsand.com/workshops-small-steps-big-difference/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Small Steps Workshops</a>T﻿he day will start with a 25 minute (optional) film screening of the seminal film, Gen Silent followed by a programme of presentations, workshops and displays.
