2-hour interactive showcase event showing a short animation, a documentary film, and a dramatisation film, exploring perinatal mental health

Centre for Contemporary Arts

This showcase event will involve a short animation, a documentary film, and a dramatization film, exploring mental health during the perinatal period (conception and the early years) through giving insight into the creative process, a panel discussion and a Q&amp;A. The Mental Health Foundation and the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit, University of Glasgow will co-host an afternoon showcase event at the CCA. Both projects share a common goal of challenging stigma and perceptions around perinatal mental health. The animation and films were created in collaboration with those with lived experience and who are working in the field and aim to increase awareness of perinatal mental health and to engage with diverse communities to improve perinatal mental health.
