Big data and IoT technologies can help manage smart cities to improve our lives on a major scale: They can enable intelligent management of city facilities, reduce energy and water consumption, optimize street
lightning, make parking more feasible and transportation smoother. This seminar looks at how cities can benefit from gathering information, use it to make informed decisions and to make cities smarter. It will highlight cases from the UK and Denmark and facilitate dialogue around innovative smart city solutions.
