Tickets

Frequently asked questions

How do I get there?

The 77 bus runs regularly and stops right by our site. There is also some parking in a lay-by car-park very close by. With this ticket you can book a place on our Shuttle Bus. We will send you full travel options when you book a ticket.

Why are you doing this?

SMART, the charity behind SMART Sheds, has recently bought the land and wants to create a useful space for the local community. Whilst you're here we will be picking your brains about how we could use the site.

Anything else I need to know about the site?

Yes. This is a rural location which needs a lot of work. We've made it fairly pretty and safe but there are still bugs and beasties and trip hazards so do wear sensible shoes!

What about this pay-as-you-feel business?

As a charity we rely on people paying as much as they can afford to do our work and we absolutely trust that those who can pay more will do so. We've all been skint at one time or another so even if you can only afford a penny, it will be gratefully received and used.

Organized by

SMART is a mental health charity, based in London, that promotes recovery through purposeful activity and connection. We are opening an ecotherapy site in the South Downs which will also host community events and activities for Brighton folk.
