Join us for this FREE online day of talks and workshops for those involved in the provision or coordination of Adult Social Care services. This event is the first, in a series of three events that focus on improving the flow of people&#x27;s information across care settings. These will run as follows:10 February - Social Care Learnathon (Part 1: Non-Technical)22 February - Social Care Learnathon (Part 2: Pre-Hack Technical Preparation)15 &amp; 16 March - Social Care Hackathon at Digital Health Rewired(tickets for the Learnathon Part 2 and the 2-day Hackathon two will be available separately) In the morning of this first Learnathon, we will be running a series of sessions designed to provide an understanding of context, set objectives for the hackathon, and signpost resources for suppliers of software to support Social Care services.In the afternoon, we will be running a series of workshops during which participants will be invited to help baseline current interoperability.WHAT TOPICS WILL BE COVERED?Morning Sessions will be presented by leaders representing a range of perspectives, including frontline professionals, software suppliers (large and small scale), care provider organisations, and national bodies. These sessions will cover:<ul><li>Accessing the ATAMIS framework and potential tech funding </li><li>Regulatory and legal accreditations (DTAC, Orcha, IS013485, ISO27001, etc.) and which are needed for different access/use</li><li>How shared care records support care delivery</li><li>Regulatory and legal considerations for care quality</li><li>An overview of master data management and how it might apply to social care</li></ul>Afternoon Workshops will be led by one or more hosts who will be inviting participation from all delegates. In these sessions you will be invited to share knowledge and first-hand experiences to help inform understanding of the following areas:<ul><li>Role-based access to the Digital Social Care Record (DSCR) - who should be able to access the record, how do we ensure security of information, what emerging technologies might be used to support access where it&#x27;s needed most </li><li>Baselining how information is currently accessed across social care. What you would like to see, and what is your understanding of how information is accessed across social care. How can we manage data flows in the future? Solutions and ideas for doing this safely and efficiently</li><li>Understanding the commitment of complying to Dynamic Purchasing Standards (DPS) - priorities and benefits to the end-user and relevance to your care setting, e.g. core information standard, data dictionary</li><li>Workflows - ways of working: how we better socialise this to the customer. Ensuring customer needs are recognised</li><li>DSCR standardisation - looking at a minimum viable data set that can maximise frontline usefulness. Challenges and strategies from development to adoption of interoperability standards </li></ul>(full agenda with timings to follow)WHO SHOULD ATTEND?Whether you are a care provider wishing to deepen your understanding of current integration options, a care professional curious to get involved and help steer the development and ensure the &#x27;real-world&#x27; usefulness of software solutions, or a software developer keen to understand end-user needs, this event is for anyone wishing to explore how new technologies could be used to support more connected, effective care whilst offering greater, secure access and involvement to those who find themselves on what is arguably the most common, complex and important patient journeys in life.PREPARATIONIn keeping with INTEROPen values, all interested parties are invited to take part in planning calls via Zoom* to help shape the scope and agenda for the hackathon, and to provide participants with the information to commence their hack plans.Planning calls for the learnathons and hackathon are now taking place every Tuesday at 09:00.
