Greener Kirkcaldy is a community-led charity and development trust working locally to combat the climate emergency, tackle fuel poverty and food insecurity, and bring people together for a more sustainable Kirkcaldy. Get out and about on your bike on one of our regular cycling events!

Key info:<ul><li>Distance – medium </li><li>Hills – includes two hills </li><li>Surfaces – mainly smooth, good quality surfaces. Some short sections that are uneven, with loose gravel. </li><li>Route – mainly on traffic-free paths, with some quiet roads. </li></ul>Join us for a leisurely bike ride. This ride form a loop near the edge of Kirkcaldy, including Pannie Den, Rabbit Braes and Dunnikier Park. This ride is ideal for people looking to build up their fitness, particularly on hills. It will also provide some opportunity to build up your confidence cycling on quiet roads. Additional InformationPlease note that this bike ride is weather-dependent.Participants should be able to cycle for 1.5 - 2hrs at a leisurely pace. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. We will carry out basic bike checks at the start of the ride. Remember to also bring your own water and snacks.Booking Instructions The event is free but booking is required.
