About this event

Join us to spend time relaxing, socialising, and spending time outdoors in this 'secret garden' in the heart of St Ann's Allotments. These sessions welcome you to join us for some gentle gardening activities, alongside a chance to chat and relax.

Meet at Ransom Road entrance for 10am

The Nursery is roughly a 5 minute walk into site along a road with a small hill.

We have some shelter, and there will also be hot drinks and usually a biscuit or 2!

The garden itself has a flat area with ample seating. If you think you may need a bit of assistance in accessing the garden, we warmly welcome a discussion in advance.

Booking is advised so we know to expect you.

Any questions, please email us at info@staa-allotments.org.uk

St Ann’s Allotments are the oldest and largest area of Victorian detached town gardens in the world, and are Grade 2* Listed by English Heritage. The site covers 75 acres, has 700 gardens, over 30 miles of hedgerow and 2000 fruit trees, many of which are heritage varieties.

STAA deliver outreach programmes to allow all members of the community to benefit from the site, including children’s activities on the Community Orchard, and volunteering opportunities on Urban Nature, Nursery, and Heritage Display gardens.
