Using the social value engine to provide relevant metrics to help show the broader value of your community-based projects and activities

Within any community activity or project demonstrating the comprehensive impact of the initiatives being delivered is an ongoing challenge. The Social Value Engine offers a tailored solution, enabling you to quantify and showcase the full spectrum of benefits your projects bring to the community by:<ul><li>Measuring and articulating the social return on investment for your initiatives</li><li>Develop compelling cases for funding and resource allocation</li><li>Align your projects effectively with local and national priorities</li><li>Make data-driven decisions that optimise community outcomes</li></ul>We are fortunate to have a leading exponent of the model with us on the day, Rose Regeneration, outlining its use and with examples from Mervyn Smith of Belfast Exposed and Charlotte Dryden from the Oh Ye Centre Belfast, who have both used the model in their practice. There are also opportunities to learn more about this method of illustrating positive returns, on the work that we do in the community.The session will provide a background to Social Value and context in how it has been previously used within Good Relations work, explore the overview of standardised Social Value Assessment process, provide discussion how Social Value is being used by organisations to demonstrate impact. There will also be an opportunity for Questions from the audience.
