Event description

Description

Cheshire Constabulary is encouraging local businesses to consider bidding for contracts with the police and demonstrating that by taking an ethical approach can bring great benefits to the community.

The event, hosted by David Keane Police & Crime Commissioner, will launch the Constabulary’s Social Value policy, and businesses can learn of the various tenders that may soon be available and how to access the Constabulary’s contract database and tendering system.

The new Social Value policy demonstrates the Constabulary’s commitment to making sure the procurement of contracts have social, economic and environmental benefits. In addition, it supports our local business communities by encouraging them to provide their services to us, whilst still delivering value for money.

The event will also provide attendees the opportunity to get the latest advice on business crime prevention and how they can develop their own approaches to social value through supporting the Constabulary’s volunteering scheme.

Book your place now as numbers are limited.

Please register your attendance for this event by 1pm on Friday 7th February.

There are two tickets permitted per company, however we can add you to a waiting list if you would like additional tickets. Please contact engagement@cheshire.pnn.police.uk to do so.

To find out the contracts that are due for renewal visit the Bluelight Procurement Database at www.blpd.gov.uk/foi

We look forward to welcoming you.
