Software Carpentry Workshop for the UK Acoustics Network

Workshop on the fundamentals of writing, managing and automation of code for conducting more robust and reproducible research.

Software Carpentry workshops teach writing, managing and automation of code for conducting more robust and reproducible research.During this Software Carpentry workshop organised by <a href="https://software.ac.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">the Software Sustainability Institute</a> for the members of the <a href="https://acoustics.ac.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">UK Acoustics Network</a>, participants will learn the basics of writing code and data management in Python to solve research problems, as well as managing code using version control and working with files and programs from command line shell. Workshop will be delivered online (via Zoom) in an interactive and informal setting where participants will code along live with instructors and will have the opportunity to have many of their questions answered.
