Imagine a Hull where power is generated and shared locally, for people rather than profit... whatever that looks or feels like to you, come and add it to our wall!
We're creating a solarpunk mural at the Lonsdale Community Centre, tying into our work as Power Hull, and our first energy club Power Plangeo. The club will allow local people to buy and sell electricity directly with each other, cutting out the middleman. And we're opening a share offer soon to put a community-owned solar array on St Matthew's Parish Hall, to act as a local power station.
What to expect:
- Free, drop-in any time between 2–6pm. No booking required, but sign up for any updates.
